Rogue Editor

An unethical “word doctor” who has no qualms divulging his company’s publishing secrets to the competitors to enhance his visibility or marketability, so that he can poached by them if he gets fired or retrenched.

Jack was dismissed within hours after his boss found out that he was leaking the company’s new titles to a key competitor, which had since recruited the rogue editor without questions.

video editor

A video editor is someone who makes edits for fun, for a living, or just to make people smile. Some video editors will throw an editor's birthday bash, just to see their fans work. These people, including myself, are usually found on Instagram.

Person 1: Have you heard of SteelPanthersimmer? She makes really good video edits. She's a good video editor!
Person 2: totally! Shes posted a series of Steel Panther edits on Instagram, Facebook, and the Steel Panther subreddit

politically nondiverse moderator/editor

where the moderator/editor rejects entries to urbandictionary based on their own political biases. this is a bad thing because then your urbandictionary will become marginalized for a smaller group of people as opposed to becoming the expression of the entire population.

urbandictionary has a politically nondiverse moderator/editor that rejects many entries because they don't believe in diversity of thought and they don't believe in being politically fair and balanced. the moderators/editors are politically nondiverse which is contradictive of the definition of "moderator." freedom of speach must include speach that you personally may have a bias against. why not get an adult with some life experience behind his/her belt that understands what freedom of speach is to moderate/edit your urbandictionary so it can evolve to become something taken seriously by the entire population? food for thought...

One time editor

Lame-assed punks who sign up to be UD editors only to get their stupid definition published,but,after realizing the backlog of definitions ,they take the chicken shit way out and plead for other editors to publish it rather than putting in some time and helping out with the editing.

Some shit-for-brains one time editor was begging to get his girl friend's name published for an anniversary present. Last of the big spenders.

Urban Dictionary Editor

1. A lifeless being who dwells in the mystical realm known colloquially as "Urban Dictionary." This being exists only to feed Urban Dictionary with ridiculous definitions that are often considered to be highly offensive, whilst rejecting all other otherwise "good" definitions.

2. 1% of the Urban Dictionary population who only seeks to benefit the community through accepting good or otherwise harmless definitions.

This definition is likely to be rejected.

"I'm so pissed, the editors rejected my entry on Double Bass. They have no life."

"Why must the Urban Dictionary Editors be so cruel?"
