Questmas

A contraction of “Meta Quest” referring to Meta’s line of VR Consoles titled the Quest series, and “Christmas” the holiday. Questmas refers to the phenomenon where every Christmas, thousands of parents buy their children VR headsets as presents, which they use unsupervised to join online VR games such as VR chat. As a result, the amount of children in these games skyrockets for the following 1-2 months, and remains permanently higher thereafter. Questmas is foreseen as a tragic event for of-age VR users.
“Hey bro, Questmas is coming up in a week. Let’s enjoy VR while we can before all those parents buy their kids headsets and our games are full of squeakers!”

“Shit’s tragic.”

questionist

Questionist
- adj. Describes someone who accepts that the concepts of established fact and reality are malleable. Referring to someone as a questionist implies that they embrace the concept that absolute truths, facts, standards, or "correct" or "true" beliefs exist only within the mind of those who hold these concepts as absolute.

- noun One who believes or accepts that there are no absolute truths, facts or concrete concepts , esp. things such as: established standards, ideals, authority, religious beliefs, moral standards, or "normality".

A strange twist and defining characteristic of the questionist, is that these entities or individuals, can be resistant to questioning of their own standards, ideals, beliefs, or perceived truths. Unfortunately this trait works against the questionist and the mindset of questioning the status quo being more readily accepted into society and culture.

A special side note: The enthusiasm and even at times, zealotry with which questionists will defend their own standards, ideals, beliefs, and truths over someone else's is an impressive display, rivaled only by the Vokelkop's Superb Bird of Paradise which lives in the forests of New Guinea.
adj. - Yes, Frank is a questionist, he questions whether microwaves actually heat the food, or if we just believe they do, so that we just think we're burning our mouths on the pizza rolls.

noun - The questionist grew frustrated with the professor describing the physics concepts of as fact.
