Slut Year

In the English school system, year nine is sometimes referred to as slut year. As year nine is now at the middle or peak or their time at secondary school, many students feel more grown up than before. This can lead to random dating, kissing, flirting, going out with year 7's or even year 11's. During this time, many frantically search for a boyfriend/girlfriend in fear of losing them to someone else or feeling left out.
