An overly obsessive fan. So, like, for example, the Dream SMP, so there are fans which do normal stuff (watch dsmp streams, content, maybe do some SFW fanart or animations of the lore etc) and there are...umm..ew, stans! NSFW (18+) fanart of minors (like TommyInnit (17) and Ranboo (18 idk)) shipping (WHICH NO SANE PERSON DOES :/) And, UM, UMM...WHAT, making a GENDER out of the owner (Dream)??!!
Ok this is kinda long and messed up. So, a stan is when a fan become too obsessive with the creator they like. So far, Dream stans are the worst. So, um, yeah, this is it. OverlyObsessiveFans.

Stanning

The act of excessively worshipping a character (real or fictional), usually one who is explicitly stated and/or shown to be not exactly morally upright, if not outright evil. Often, someone who stans will completely ignore all of the negative things about the character, or excessively downplay the negative parts to an illogical degree.

Please stop stanning Dream. He cheated in a speedrun, and for what? Are you saying cheaters are people who should be looked up to?
