Popular nickname for members of Generation Z that incidentally also plays on the name of the online video chat service Zoom, one that many Zoomers famously used for school and university classes during the coronavirus.

Emily: Do you remember back in High School when we had classes on Zoom because of the pandemic?
Jacob: Yeah, we're such Zoomers.

Zoomers

Boomers with Zip. They are baby boomers who are active, alive, going places, and doing things. They may have retired, or are about to retire, but they are healthy, fit and doing things usually associated with people a few decades younger, like cycling, kayaking and (fast-paced) hiking. Don't you dare call them seniors.

Those zoomers did a 60km cycle this past weekend!
