I am new to the borough.. So far it has been okay. Quiet around were I live. I guess considered the Northern Part. There are some things that remind me of the South Bronx my old home. But hey so far so good...

Staten Island Peaceful home.
Or the like the girl from models in the bronx spelled it State Island.
White people "acting black" interesting to watch.
Good looking people.
Nice houses.
And yeah the Mall is what catches my eye on the weekends.

Staten Island Girl

I would like to say that all Staten Island girls are not the same. I am not like the stereotypes. Yes, I was born on Staten Island. And yes I own a couple coach bags. And a Northface. But why is that a bad thing. Coach is very popular. So is The North Face brand. So why is liking these things so stereotypical. If I went to Connecticut and was wearing my Coach bag and my Northface and straightened my hair.. would everyone whisper to eachother.. oh, i think she is one of those staten island girls. I don't think so. So why is it so important to try and put us down. Because I take pride in what I look like I got to be called trashy. How does that make sense. But on the other hand. If I didn't straighten my hair.. and had an ugly bag from Walmart. And no jacket. You people with all your negative opinions would still have something to say. right... you would probably say hey look at this dirtbag.. where is she from.. lets talk shit about her because she is not the same as all the other girls we talk shit about.. I don't get it. Are you mad because when you were 12 the pretty girls wouldn't talk to you??
You want to know what sucks.. I am a girl, living on Staten Island.. and because of all this trash talk. I can't be proud of where I come from. I never went tanning a day in my life. And I am 24. I have friends from both the north shore and the south. I don't pretend to be something I'm not. And I am Italian. But I don't think I can make "One phone call" and think your just going to disappear. I hate drama. Save that shit for tv. I cant stand the "OMG no way.. you bitch, you stole my bf." If he wants you, he was never good enough for me.. so you can have him. Now both of you leave me alone, I don't care!! And Im not rich.. I work for everything I have.. and I have a Maxima, Not an Altima..I don't drive like everyone else.. I drive better. I just think all this stuff is bullshit. Staten Island is boring. But its the suburbs. It's supposed to be boring. And I would love to move .. but I don't want to live in Jersey. So I'm just stuck here. I guess.

P.s. Just because a white boy tires to be tougher than he is, does not mean he is trying to be black. He is just trying to be tough.

Staten Island

The shit hole of NYC. A place that is an embarrassment to the rest of New York and we admittedly want to give it away to New York's bastard son, New jersey. However, not even Jersey wants it. Its only connection to NY is through the Verazzano Bridge which connects Bay Ridge to SI. Most of the people are Rich white guido types like in Bay Ridge but the Brooklyn kids are cooler because they arent from SI. Most of the SI kids pretend they are from Brooklyn because they are embarrassed of it themselves. No one has any reason to ever go to SI.

Gumba Johnny: Yo, where you from?
Staten Island thug: Bay Ridge Brooklyn on Main street dawg!!! hOLLLLAA
Gumba Johnny: That street doesnt exist in Bay ridge, you're from Staten Island arent you?

a place where about 15 people out of the entire population think. kids in staten iland all look the same and if you have an above 50 average people think you're a nerd. even if you are 400 pounds and are the ugliest kid ever you will get as many girls as you want if you 1. spike your hair 2. where a northface jacket 3. are italian 4. are stupid 5. wax your eyebrows. everyone thinks they are in the mafia and thinks they are from the street even though they are all rich as hell.

i went to an ice skating rink in staten island once with a friend, and we were literally the only guys there without spiked hair and a northface jacket, i'm not kidding

me, personally from staten island, can say that you guys over exagerrate on the whole staten island stereotype. this whole island isnt filled with assholes, and i bet you you haven't even been to staten island before, so just stop talking bull shit. yeah i live in south shore, and so what? i'm italian, i'm not orange, i dont have tips, i dont walk around like a skank. yeah i have a north face and have coach and chanel bags, what about it? we wax our eyebrows, i would hope you do too. girls wear tight pants, no shit, do you want us to look like guys? you might think we're spoiled but if you look around im sure there much more spoiled kids where you live. we have an accent, and im pretty sure you have one from where you live too. so stop stereotyping and dont open your mouth if you dont know what your talking about. kay thanks.
