The phrase that clueless people put at the top of their group posts on facebook to indicate that they're too special to be bothered with reading the group rules, and so self important that they need to tell the admins how to do their job. Usually the post is spam advertising their youtube channel or marketplace item.

I see this a lot in groups and threads. The person will preface by saying “please delete if not allowed” followed by doing or posting something that is obviously not allowed. The rules are right there for everyone to read and why bother posting it if you know that it isn’t allowed?

Please Explain

A phrase used by authority when the proverbial s**t has hit the fan/someone has done something really stupid and the responsible party/scapegoat is being called to answer and take liability for their actions (also known as getting a boot up the backside).

There have been reports of abusive language in front of customers, and management has asked for a Please Explain.

Please be advised

A meaningless phrase that prefaces relevant information. It is basically unnecessary if not redundant, as one is engaged in the very act of “advising” when issuing a warning, imparting knowledge, or giving advice. “Please be advised” is used excessively by people in law enforcement and sometimes by those who became serious about life at a very late age, and now maintain blogs that purport to warn the public about what is largely one-sided, uninteresting crap.

Ryan: Officer Murphy, please be advised that our suspect is driving a Jeep.

Murphy: Ryan, the fact that you’re advising me is understood in the information you have just given to me. Saying “please be advised” is an unnecessary redundancy that pollutes our radio communication.

Ryan: Ten-four.

This word is what you say when you are either really depressed, trying to be emo, or actually want to die. The main people who say this have never been laid, just broke up, or are in true pain and agony. It is also a common phrase when there is a test and you didn't study. It is also usually said by the same guy that says We had homework?

It’s a phrase you use to attack people for being weirdos that give off the vibe that they barely leave their house. Specially anime fans that are down bad for children when the hot adult characters are right there. Commonly used on TikTok
