A person who is cool. They aren't all worked up by shit because they have perspective. There aren't a lot of chill people out there but there is nothing cooler than a chill old woman or man.

Man. Becky is a chill person. It's like nothing bad phases her. She's a lot of fun to kick back with at the end of the day and joke around with.

personality hire

Someone underqualified for a job but hired anyway purely because they have a great personality/attitude. Personality hires are often very low performers in terms of output but are brought on because of bias / attraction / an effort to boost morale. Someone who is a personality hire is essentially the opposite of someone with impostor syndrome.

Me showing up to my job, knowing I'm a personality hire who doesn't bring anything to the table, but hey at least I bring good vibes.
