Devendra Banhart

Devendra Banhart is a musician/artist involved in the freak-folk scene. His music is considered by many people in the indie community to be the most original sound to come along in a while. His vocal range is extradordinarily diverse and he utilizes it as an instrument moreso than his guitar at times. Although initially difficult to understand his sound, once you listen to an album, you're hooked. Amazing sound and seemingly an amazing person as well.

Dependecy Hell

(n) A state that computers running a RPM-Based linux system get into. It minvolves Package A needing package B, and Package B needing packages C & D, amd Package C needs package F, while package D is incompatible with package F. This situation can be easily solved by using a linux distro without RPMS, like debian or gentoo for example.

I cant play Tux-Racer because of a dependency in it!

descendents

Descendents...definately one of the best punk bands (or pop punk for those that demand everything be labled) ever! Catchy as hell but still fast and aggressive! If you like Buzzcocks, The Queers, NOFX, old Greenday, Bad Religion, or anything like that, Descendents are for you! Descendents subjects include: Coffee, food, maturing (or lack of) and , but of course, girls. Descendents aren't like other punk bands. Don't expect to hear simmilaraties to blink, MxPx, or Sum 41. And no, I'm not gonna go on a rant about how much those bands suck (actually I'm pretty into old blink). If you wanna hear good Descendents listen to:

or just pick up a copy of Somery (very good CD)
