Chuseok

Chuseok (추석) is like a Korean Thanksgiving. It isn’t exactly the same as America’s but it’s very similar. The literal translation is “Autumn evening” and it’s a festival where many Koreans will return to their hometowns for a gathering with friends and family. The whole holiday itself lasts 2-3 days (with the day itself usually being in the middle) and always takes place sometime in September or October.

Boy 1: “Did you have a good Chuseok this year?”
Boy 2: “Yeah! I went back to Busan and saw many of my old friends!”

Siera the chosen one

Siera is one of my best friends, i knew her for the longest time. In high school she was the only person who became my friend when everyone else was bullying me. We even went to the same college together and remain friends to this day. I cant imagine myself being friends with anyone else.
