The Bemma Effect

when you make eye contact with someone, see or meet them, or engage in conversation with them for the first time, and you start to see them frequently.
“I literally talked to this kid once and now I see him everywhere, it really is the Bemma effect.”

The Hancock Effect

When you see a girl in Hancock (A Library) and you think she is good looking. Later you see her outside in the real world, and she is no good at all.

The Mandela Effect

Contrary to popular belief. The Mandela Effect has nothing to do with time travel or multiple alternate universes colliding.

The Mandela Effect is the recollection of events that never occured. (eg: Shazaam featuring Sinbad. It was actually Kazaam featuring Shaq.)

The name of the phenomena is derived from the belief that mandela died in 1991 in prison.
"Remember Sinbad in Shazaam? No. It never existed. It's the Mandela Effect"

The Boardwalk Effect

When you are at a party or gathering of some type and upon arrival you notice the girls aren't good looking. Then after a prolonged period of time at the party or gathering, your standards at that party fall and the least ugly chicks start looking good.

Can also be when you are at a gathering with not that many girls there and just because there's not that many chicks at the party, the ones there start looking good when normally they're not that great or grenades.

Came from a visit to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk where most of the girls there are fat and ghetto. After a few hours there your standards fall and they start looking good.
*at a party*
Bro 1 (11:00pm)- Man this party is kinda wack, the chicks here are not fine.
Bro 2 (11:00pm)- Yeah I feel you man, whatever its early i'm sure it will get better.

Bro 1 (12:30am)- Dude some of these chicks are starting to look good...
Bro 2 (12:30am)- Yeah I know, we need to get the hell out of here, its the Boardwalk Effect.

The Caterpillar Effect

The phenomenon experienced on the road when someone decides to slow down their car to look at something of interest on the side of the road. This causes that area of the road to slow down for the following hours. This leads to cars, collectively, mimicking a caterpillar walking.
The phenomenon is easily observed on highways.
MAN! Some jerk decided to stop and look at one of the millions of car crashes a day and it's making everyone feel the Caterpillar Effect for the next hour!

The Wallflower Effect

When you take a quotable book and make a movie adaption and then white girls in their flocks watch it and quote it till it is exhausted (other activites include writing the quote on various surfaces and places and uploading it to instagram, making galaxy gifs with the quotes, getting cliched tattoos, etc).

The term is dubbed so due to the effect on teenage girls everywhere after the Perks Of Being A Wallflower was adapted into a film 13 years after the release of the book.

'The Fault in Our Stars' by John Green is likely to go through this effect
Example 1:

Kelly: I just got my new tattoo!
Scott: Oh cool, what of?
Kelly: Oh it's one of those sideways 8's and it says 'In That Moment, I swear we were Infinite'
Scott: wtf dumb hoe

Example 2:
(This hasn't happened but it will, I'm sure)
Jenny: Oh I didn't know you smoked you should probably do that outside though
Hannah: I don't smoke. It's a metaphor, I put the killing thing in my mouth but I don't give it the power to kill me <3
Jenny: ???????? *confused because wtf and how did she just do an internet heart in real life*
Hannah: It's a metaphor~~ <3 Augustus Waters <3

These are both examples of The Wallflower Effect

The Shoelace Effect

When things go wrong, they will be right again - all loose ends will be tied up.
"Hey, yesterday everything seemed to go wrong but today, everything that went to shit is good again! Weird."
"Yeah, that's the shoelace effect."
