Short for "Brotha Tones", which is a much needed term for the backup vocal parts in newer rap/hip hop music which mostly consist of short rhythmic repetition of words like "Hey", "What?", "Yo" etc. These are used to accentuate the beat and sometimes lends to syncopation, generally making the song more dance-able.

A thing that start with a slash and are used to indicate how the person is using their sentence. Used over text due to the fact that it's hard to get certain things across that you might verbally. (i.e sarcasm, jokes, singing)
Sometimes useless.
Sometimes useless.
person 1: im behind you /j
person 2: it was obvious that was a joke why did you use a tone indicator?

A specific tone of voice that can only be conveyed when owning/having a mustache. Mustache tone is generally highly confident to the point of condescending, with hints of patronizing bravado and overtly masculine diction. Bordering on being an asshole but still somehow slightly appealing.
"That guy at the bar was a chauvanistic asshole. His mustache tone was completely gross."
or
"Larry has closed more sales leads this month than everyone else combined. It must be the mustache tone."

Another way of saying "Let's Do It."
In reference to Tone Loc's 1988 single "Wild Thing" -
"Let's do it
Workin' all week 9 to 5 for my money
So when the weekend comes I go get live with the honey
Rollin' down the street I saw this girl and she was pumpin'
I winked my eye she got into the ride went to a club was jumpin'
Introduce myself as Loc she said "You're a liar"
I said "I got it goin' on baby doll and I'm on fire"
Took her to the hotel she said "You're the king"
I said "Be my queen if you know what I mean and let us do the wild thing"

Evidence that one receives or makes phone calls while on the toilet. The rim-tone is characterized by the anal shriek of seal-breaking accompanied by the splashing sounds of loaf impact and/or groans of relief - all with that peculiar reverb from a toilet stall.
I was trying to reschedule my physio appointment over the phone, but I couldn't hear the therapist over the cacophony of his rim-tones.

The tone of a text message. This tone is FREQUENTLY misunderstood due to the lack of words and emotions, as is the nature of text messaging. Tone of Text can cause serious problems in a relationship.
Using the term "whatever" may be meant as "I don't care", "you decide", "I'm open". The receiver of that text message "whatever" can't hear your tone of voice and might assume you are being sarcastic or flippant or just plain rude, causing a Tone of Text misunderstanding.
