Unexpected credit bestowed for a deed or action resulting in special favor of the recipient in the brownie point giver's eyes. Negative brownie points are also avaliable and can also deduct from the brownie point count (which is never really accurate in the first place).

Adriel tried to earn brownie points for prizes but soon discovered the joy in earning brownie points is that there are no prizes, only accumulating credit resulting in the warmed heart of his friends.

an elaborate system for calculating popularity commonly joked about among scenesters and scenester wannabes. everybody know what they are but no one will actually admit they exist.

for example, these things give you scene points:
-bandanas
-straight edge
-veganism
-black hair over face
-collecting vinyl
-having obscure band merch
-wearing tight pants
-being friends with bands, promoters, etc.

these things make you lose scene points:
-wearing volcom, zero, hurley, etc.
-liking good charlotte
-asking for an autograph
-driving (scene kids walk/take the bus)
-having anything to do with rap
-getting a tan

A system of points to measure the amount of swag a person has. Similar to swag points but in the snoop dogg point system anyone with less points than you is your bitch and they have to do what you say.

Aw man, I have less snoop dogg points than grant, so I have to do what he says.
