A common slang term in Minneapolis metro area. It’s a word that mainly used for emphasis of your excitement. Comparable to saying “bet” after someone gives you directions ect. If a friend gave me candy out of the blue I would go “Meerrch, thanks bro.”

when something is awesome, surprisingly awesome, or saying like "whattttt?!?!?!?!?". synonymous with "bet". also the tone really adds a lot.

"I got with this guy last night"
