Lemmy is a forum-type social media platform very similar to Reddit. It is apart of the Fediverse, and therefore decentralized. Users can post and share about various topics through links, images, threads, and more. It had a small community before quickly rising in popularity alongside kbin after the Reddit api/3rd part app protests. It is often deemed a Reddit alternative.
