Get the Garth brooks mug.a mathematical principal wherein the result of an equation is defined by the equation itself, thereby making the equation utterly useless, known as gershlakian math
When you need to fake sales or profit data, or cheat on fees, you use gershlakian math.
#1: if you need to hit a sales quota, just say you sold that much.
#2: if you need to show what percentage you charged in fees, how much you charged in fees, just take what you were SUPPOSED to charge on a percentage basios, divided what fees you charged by that percentage, and tell the questioner that the resulting amount was the base number for their fees. It's lying, but the math will always be right.
