Usually recently arrived, they sport tanned skin, a relaxed attitude, claim to know everything about the island they inhabit, have little real knowledge about said island or its people, dress intentionally down, smoke excessive amounts of marijuana, and are generally parasitic in nature. If they work, most often this is as some type of "guide", charter boat hand, or possibly "bartender" who can open a beer, or mix a rum and coke, but beyond two ingredients is useless. They usually don't hold jobs very long and expect great tips.
No wonder this painkiller is disgusting, Islandman was too busy mansplaining the island to pay attention to the drink he's supposed to be making!
