Unlike a God complex, however, the individual believe they were put on this Earth to help the people. Despite their flaws, they think they can do no harm and never do wrong because they had the "right" intentions. With this, it is hard to believe that people could hate the person with an angel complex- their reasoning being "I'm so nice and caring, how could you ever hate someone like me?"
