Portal syndrome

What happens when somebody plays the Valve game "Portal" for too long. The victim begins subconsciously imagining different aspects of the game in real life. For example, somebody with Portal Syndrome may mistake a large storage box for the Weighted Companion Cube, as as such, may begin screaming any number of things ranging from "You're alive!" to "I'm sorry I threw you into the fire!" As another example, somebody may begin thinking that they are trapped in the Aperture Science Computer Aided Enrichment Center.

Fred: Why is Lee hugging that box?

George: He has Portal Syndrome. He played Portal for seven hours straight last night.

Silent Protagonist

A character from a fictional video game or book, who does not directly and vocally interacts with others. They still talk, only, we cannot HEAR/READ what they say, but other characters do. Sometimes, you can actually read or hear their thoughts. While silently interacting, they move their body, such as nodding, or bowing their heads.

Isaac from Golden Sun, Crono from Chrono Trigger, Serge from Chrono Cross, Ryu from Breath of Fire 1/2/3/4, etc.

A game that Valve just picked up all trademarks for when they dropped trade marks for half-life three. Sadly, it will never come out. Ever.

1: when is portal 3 coming out?
2: never. Valve can't count to three dude.
