The term two males use for each other, not in a homosexual way but rather a way which suggests a bond closer than brothers, when one cannot, and will not, share the same party experience unless the other is present. Once one finds his "wingman" no party will ever be the same thereafter without him. This person is hand picked and must truely earn the right to be called another friend's WINGMAN!

A pawn in a tactic for picking up women for those who think they need their friend to help. Works about 5-10% of the time, unless you harness the douchery well. One of three things will happen.

1. The wingman hits on the ugly chick so you can get the hot one. You actually think this will help you. Inevitably, the wingman eventually gets to pick one, and you miss out on both.

2. The wingman becomes your martyr of the night, you have a good night, he goes home feeling like a douche, unless he liked the ugly chick.
