Taydan

taydan is a nice kid. he seems pretty quiet at first, but once you really get to know him, he can be a really good friend who always has your back. he likes to play rugby, and that is also the reason he's in the rugby cult. taydan is not that funny. he is kind of old fashioned and likes to post pictures of him on his instagram with his dog, and sometimes he acts like an old guy. old people are nice, and he is too. everyone should appreciate someone named taydan because they are very rare and you are very lucky if you happen to be friends with one.

person 1: "wow i hope i had a friend like yours, he seems really nice and understanding."

person 2: "of course, because his name is taydan!"

person 1: "wow you're so lucky, people named taydan are so rare. i wish i had a taydan as a friend.

tryhard

An individual that tries. Hard.

This is not in reference to those that are scholastically ambitious, or put effort into sports. No, no. This is a strong, biting description of someone that obviously thinks a whole lot about their public image - fashion, vernacular, taste, etc. Such a person tends to fit very neatly into a particular pigeon hole - typically, a subculture. A tryhard is pathetically hyper-aware and irredeemably lame in their awareness and internalizing of all things external and obvious.

Pretty much the only phrase used is uttered snidely, under the breath to one's cohorts: "What a tryhard" or, alternately, "whatta tryhard". In particularly outstanding cases, "oh my God, whatta tryhard."
