Cute and dorky, but not in a mean way when used as a noun.
As in "She's such a Shmeeb."

Can also mean cute little kids.

Can also be used when you don't have a clue what is going on as in "What the Shmeeb??"

The ice cream truck came and all the little Shmeebs came running.

Shmeekles

A legendary marsupial alleged to be found in the wilderness of Maine. This marsupial has no backbone or mouth. It oozes across the ground, pulling itself along with its enormously long tongue. This marsupial is supposed to have plaid fur, and one eye is pink while the other is brown. The Shmeekles is six feet long, and feeds off of the souls of salamanders.

Gather 'round the campfire, children! it's time to tell the tale of the Shmeekles...
