Pledgenege

To pledge, and then renege. When someone pledges money and/or resources to a charity or non-profit organization without ever fulfilling their pledge. A form of performative activism that makes the pledger appear to be participating in costly signaling without actually expending any resources.
Amber heard pledgeneged $3.25 million of her $3.5 million commitment to LA Children's Hospital.

Pledglet

The lowest recruit on the totem pole when pledging to a fraternity.

Also known as just a word made up by Mark, the true King of Resting Eye Faces.
"Man, that new pledglet is so lame!"

"The four pledglets are out, Doctor."

"That pledglet Mark is always cracking us up with his malapropisms."

pleddit

A term used(generally by people who don’t use Reddit) to refer to the platform. It is a portmanteau of the words “plebeian” and “Reddit”, and the term infers that people who regularly use Reddit are unintelligent and/or unsophisticated people.
