Immunity Bravado

The egotistical and potentially mistaken belief that one is so healthy that they a) would have no issues with the Covid infection and take very little or no precautions not to get it or b) believe they probably have had a case already and it was mild since they are so healthy and are now immune and may seek an antibody test to confirm or c) they announce their wish to get infected just to get it over with and again are overconfident with their current state of health.

Injun

I was told this from great-great-grandparents, which I believe is absolutely the true orgin of the word Injun. It is not from "lazy" word pernunciation by trying to say Indian. The word Injun is a contraction from the word indigenous, and spelled like the phonetic sound of the contraction. So "Indigenous", INdiGENous, INGEN, INJUN.
Be respectful to Injuns, afterall they were here before us.
