Humbert

The narrator of Vladimir Nabokov's 'Lolita'. Humbert (who is about 36) falls in love with Lolita (who is around 12 when he first meets her), and the two have a bizarre sexual relationship, even though he is her stepfather. Humbert is a complex character, and despite the fact he ruined Lolita's childhood, readers often end up pitying him at the end of the book, when he declares his love for Lolita and tries to fix what he has done by trying to protect Lolita.

Teacher : It's not wrong to feel sorry for Humbert when you finish the book.

Nicholas Hume

The main character played by Kevin Bacon in the movie Death Sentence. Humes' oldest son was murdered in a convenience store. He killed the man who killed his son, and in return, was targeted by the gang who had killed his son. Him, his wife and younger son were all shot. He survived, and his younger son went into a coma. Thinking he no longer had a purpose to live, Hume went on a rampage to kill the gang who ruined his life. He succeeded in doing so, but he died during the gun battle with the gang leader. Seconds before he bled to death, he was informed that his son was going to wake up from the coma.

A hucker is an extreme sportsman, usually bmx, who will take large drops and boost gaps. Usually huckers do not possess skill to grind, tailwhip, barspin, or any of that smooth boy stuff. Huckers also usually have little skill overall, and only impress by doing crazy drops and gaps.
