It's almost like they're on an acid trip their whole life. Some are silly, smart or violent/temperamental and extremely difficult to raise and comfort with their psychological conditions. As they get older the mind does not mature properly and can remain in an adolescent state their whole life while still being highly functional adults that even have careers.

One of my biggest challenges as a camp counselor was making sure the autistic children were also having a good time.

Autism 

A neurodevelopmental disorder on the Pervasive Developmental Disorder group characterized by challenges in social life, motor skills, etc. Autism may refer to Kanner autism or classic autism, but mostly the Autism spectrum. Autism is mostly inherited in genetics. Comorbid conditions include ADHD, intellectual disability, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, Rett syndrome, selective mutism, schizophrenia, etc.

Boys are mostly 10 times to get the autism diagnosis, but girls are less frequently to get the autism diagnosis, leading to the false belief that autism is only applied to boys, as this is incorrect, as possibly girls can get a autism diagnosis by a professional doctor. The Internet portrays autism as a disease resulting in permeant retardation, when in reality is a neurodevelopmental disorder including social challenges, motor skills, etc.

Person 1: Hey John!
Person 3: Wait, why is he here?
Person 1: He's just autistic, that's all.
Person 1: As autism itself is a neurodevelopmental disorder.

Autism 

A condition that impairs someone’s ability to think, behave, and socialize like a normal person(neurotypical). They find it impossible and often struggle to fit in with normal people like talking as much, sharing similar vibes, dressing up and acting like them cause. Next to some being really quiet, they can also be sometimes abnormally shy, anxious, angry.

On the internet they are often stereotyped as weird or even nerdy people who are almost incapable of fluidly following up conversations well(often restricted to few stuff they know), waste their and sometimes other people’s time, and can be odd enough to do weird role playing, quoting and roaring for fun, etc.

One guy in an online game typed “rawr” in winning and someone said “Let out your autism Shrek”.
