flaccid argument

(noun) an argument (for a paper or essay) that starts out weak and limp but that gets longer and stronger the more you play around with it

My philosophy paper still has a flaccid argument, so I'm thinking about spending the night in the library to really firm it up.

Jimmy always has trouble with flaccid arguments, so he often asks his girlfriend to help out.

Verb: refers to a heated debate whereby a participant quickly becomes offended and retaliates in a personal/argumentative manner and the conversation quickly turns nasty.

Beverly: "In my opinion, I think prostitution is disgusting"
Violet: "Yes, but that's your opinion... I don't agree"
Beverly: "That's probably because you'll do anything for a free drink"
Violet: "At least I get attention from men, you ugly whore"

And so an argument progresses, i.e. an argubate.

Angus Young

Angus Young is the lead guitarist of the Australian band AC/DC. Spelled A-C-thunderbolt-D-C. Born in Scotland. Angus Young is underrated by many as a guitarist; however many people have tried, none have matched his unique hard rock/bluesy playing style. Easily recognized by the crazy riffs he plays.

If Angus Young is such a horrible guitar player, why is there no one out there who has the ability to play as well?
