Roblox stated that this wasn't because of a DDos Attack, The chipotle event (which many people thought of) or any events in other experiences. Players were at the risk of losing their daily login streaks in other games (like in Adopt me). On January 20 2022, A Roblox staff made a blog post that the cause of the outage was caused by a misconfiguration in a core service.
