cheerleader

Usually a girl, also can be a guy, who cheers, vocally supports, performs dance routines, and stunts at football, basketball, or baseball games, pep rallies, and competes at competitions. Commonly is stereotyped as being dumb, slutty, blonde, and easy but that isn't true. Cheerleaders are very talented because what they do isn't easy.
"Damn, did you see the routine the cheerleaders did during halftime? They were throwing up some of those girls so high in the air and their dance routine was amazing!!!

cheerleading

cheerleading is a hard working sport. cheerleaders do almost everything that the other sports do. we run, we condition, we get yelled at, we practice for a long time. just because we look stupid doesn't mean we are. are routines might be 3 minutes long, but they are hard. and they require a lot of work. we have to hold girls sometimes twice as big as us and still tumble. do you have to do a backflip and then hold a girl on your hands above your head? then continue with more back flipping? no. it is hard. and it is a sport.
we actually are cheerleaders, we aren't just random people trying to get on the subject. we know that cheerleading is a sport.

cheery

Happy, sunny. Something that makes you happy is cheery, and people are cheery when they are in a good mood.

Cheery is an old fashioned term, and is now used primarily in sarcastic comments, where the word "cheery" actually means "depressing."
As in:
"I heard you whistling. You must be in a cheery mood."

Or sarcastically:
"Hearing about that suicide was definitely cheery."
