I told my friends that I believe in a magical city in the sky and they said I was full of shit. When I told them that magical city was heaven everyone felt bad until I told them I was joking. Just goes to prove that the word "religion" makes any bullshit you come up with true.

Religious Nationalism

Religious Nationalism is a political ideology that incorporates religion into nationalism. This can be seen in many religions like Christianity, were you have god-fearing religious nut jobs who think the end is coming every year. Most of the people who subscribe to such doctrine are intolerant assholes who think secularism is taking away their rights and then proceeds to use their beliefs to take away the rights of others. Overall, they are the most unpleasant and hypocritical group in American politics. But, these people obviously exist outside American politics, like in India, were the caste system there has been largely defined by the Hindu nationalists and other religious groups that reside in the country. Many people who are incorporate religious nationalism into their beliefs are often fundamentalists who believe in the literal text of their books.

Person 1: Yo did you see that person who was forcing their beliefs onto others? He is a bit messed up in the head.
Person 2: Yeah, he might be one of those crazed religious nationalists. Religious nationalism is a disease, be careful.

Man 1: "Yo, I had to hit the Catholic church with my fam."

Man 2: "Yeah, those stupid cannibalistic religits"

Religious Cleansing

The act of segregating, discriminating or mass murdering large groups of people due to religious differences. Often thought as purification, it is an ancient practice used to "cleanse the world" of anyone who is not a member of that particular religion. Anyone opposing the purification are imprisoned, expelled or slaughtered in the name of whatever god or diety posessed them to commit the atrocity.

Caleb: Whatever happened to the religious order that used to that religious bunch in the next town?

Dave: I heard they were rounded up and either taken away or executed. Something about a religious cleansing.

Religious Exaggeration Mom

A mom that reads stereotypical bible verses, and doesn't even know that they are stereotypical, that is a religious freak, doesn't let you play with good vs evil toys (like superhero toys and star wars toys), just because she doesn't want "negative energy" in the house, says whatever she doesn't like is of the devil, won't even let you say devil, and won't let you listen to songs that sound like "darkness" to her.

Religion

Religion is usually composed of the belief in god or gods and the worship of said god or gods. A religion usually has a holy book that is supposed be to read to get moral instructions and guidance but the believers are usually to lazy to read it.

Basically, bullshit. Especially when people try to teach creationism in schools or prevent people from getting married because of it.

There are two extreme sides of the spectrum. There's the atheist who despises religious people and argues about pretty much anything that has to do with religion. These people usually think of themselves as superior in intellect than the religious sheep. And then there's the religious person (usually a christian) who hates people of other religions/no religion and tries to outlaw all their fun.
