Faike

When it's definately AI but it's being used for deceptive purposes by people attempting to pass it off as real.
That picture of you on the moon having cocktails with a giraffe is soooo faike

Flaker's High

The euphoric feeling of relief and liberation one gets after cancelling or flaking out on a commitment they were dreading, especially one made out of obligation, societal pressure, or to appease someone else.

Particularly experienced by introverts faced with social obligations, but can apply to anyone ditching something they're not vibing with. Like a runner's high, but for being a flake.
"Sarah was riding that flaker's high after she decided to Netflix and chill instead of going to that overcrowded music festival she got invited to."

"Dude, are you going to Mike's party tonight?"
"Nah, just flaked. Riding the flaker's high now and binging on ice cream."

Flakeweed

To be a person or thing that doesn't show up on time or work in a timely manner.
Josh was supposed to drop off a bag about a hour ago but he just keeps responding that he's on his way I swear he's always being a flakeweed

flake watch

When you're closely observing someone who you believe might flake on you, you have them on flake watch.
I made plans with Liz last night but I feel she may bail out. I've got her on flake watch

Flakey Damon

The guy decked out head-to-toe in the most expensive gear possible, who cracks at the first inkling of physical discomfort.
Maybe if that guy packed more tampons and less Kuiu gear, he wouldn’t have pulled a Flakey Damon once it started raining.

Flakecake

A person who, after owning up to their mistake and offering an apology, slyly deflects responsibility at the last minute, insisting that the error wasn't truly their fault. This individual masterfully crafts excuses, leaving others scratching their heads and wondering if they were ever truly accountable in the first place.
Lisa: "Hey, Jake, you said you'd handle the project deadline, but we missed it. What happened?"

Jake: "Oh, my bad, I messed up. I apologize for that. You know, I would have finished on time, but the software glitched, and it really wasn't my fault anyway. I tried my best."

Lisa (whispering to a colleague): "Classic Flakecake move right there – takes the blame and then shifts it seamlessly. Always has a convenient excuse ready."
