COPPA was created in 1998 with the intention of blocking children from
the internet because they were believed to be stupid at the time. This is an overused and false stereotype, since there are some children who are very smart, and there are some adults who are very dumb. Examples of stupid adults can be found in 1998-present when nobody has ever taken any legal action against COPPA.
What children are learning from COPPA is that everyone hates them for being under 13, a number that they cannot control. What adults are learning from COPPA is that children are stupid, even when they're not. What COPPA should be doing is, instead of filtering people by their legal age, filter people by their mental age, their IQ, or how much they know about
internet safety. Another improvement they could make is to not steal YouTubers' money just because they have music in their videos. But who'd listen to me? I'm just a kid! COPPA thinks kids are stupid and should suffer! At this point, I'm probably going to die before turning 13!! But TheY wouldn't like that, thEY want MORE 13 yrld s! tHey are SELFISH AND HATE US CHILDREN BECAUSE WE'RE NOT AS OLD AS THEM!!! pLUS, WHAT'S THE POINT OF HAVING AN ONLINE VERSION IF
THE CHILDREN ARE STILL VULNERABLE IN
THE REAL WORLD?!?!?!
