The Legend of Zelda

An extremely popular game series that revloves around puzzle solving and action, in which Link (the player) battles evil forces and explores dungeons in hopes to save the land of Hyrule (and sometimes other lands).

It is a pretty big Legend and we most certainly have not seen all of Link's life. There is a big gap between "The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker", and how that is related to the actual series, which they need to make a game about regardless about what you may think about that game.

Zelda Physics

Physics as applied in The Legend of Zelda series. Examples include shrubbery that turns into rupees when cut, enemies bursting into flames after being hit by your sword, falling 300+ feet and rolling to avoid any bodily harm whatsoever, walls made of wood that spark when you hit them with your sword, and suddenly levitating three feet in midair when jumping to a seemingly impossible to reach platform.

Why won't it let me climb on top of this ledge that's half my height?" "Zelda physics." "How did Link manage to dive headfirst onto concrete from ten feet up and not crack his head open?" "Zelda physics.

The main character and the hero of hyrule. Zelda needs to save princess peach from ganon in most zelda games.

Guy 1: hey look its zelda!
Guy 2: that's link...
Guy 1: no that's zelda, if the game is called THE LEGEND OF ZELDA why would the main character be link?
Guy 2: *sigh*
