Coined by a design studio in San Luis Obispo, California, the position of "volleybologist" describes an individual who is immersed in the beach volleyball culture and studies the science of being an exceptional beach volleyball player.

Who's that tan stud with sandy legs chilling on the bench surrounded by beach babes? He's definitely a volleybologist.

Volleyball

A sport that doesn't just consist of girls wearing spandex, but guys play too. No; it isn't a sport for lame tall lankey people but it is a sport for anyone. Some of the positions are middle blocker, wing spiker, setter and libero ( they wear a different colored jersey ). Unlike the stereotype, volleyball is an intense sport and although you can get used to the movements to be good they have to be perfected. Anyone who plays this sport is badass, then again I'm a little biased because I play volleyball. If you still think volleyball is easy, try playing in a varsity game.

"Damn that volleyball game was so intense, I never knew how hard it really was."

Volleyball mom

A middle-aged woman ranging from the ages of mid 20's to 40's. Feels entitled at any moment to brag that her daughter is the best. Speeds 25 mph over and buys Starbucks every other hour. Schedules team bondings every week and demands her daughter has playing time. Tries to befriend the coach and manage everything. No matter what she does her daughter is still unhappy.

Base-Volleybolf

A sport revolving around golf, though gold makes the smallest appearance in the sport. Base-Volleybolf is a game in which you play baseball with a volleyball, but if you hit a foul, you golf smack it with the batt.
