1. the systems are not connected
2. people refuse to look at the single source of truth and want it in the specific place they look.

The human copying machine becomes frustrated at the waste of time and energy copy/pasting the same data/story when the priority should be focused on helping the customer.

Human Copying Machine

A highly trained person who wastes their time copying and pasting the same information in multiple locations because:
1. The systems are not interconnected.
2. Leadership and key contributors refuse to look at the SSOT (single source of truth) and each want it provided through a different channel
3. You are required by management to post it in multiple places hoping anyone will view it.

The human copying machine could be doing so much more for our customers if they were wasting time.
