KARA means "sweet melody" in Greek and is the name of a Korean Pop group. The member Park Gyuri gave the group the name. This group debuted in 2007 and have had many member changes. When they debuted they had: Park Gyuri, Han Seungyeon, Sunghee and Nicole Jung (an American member) . After Sunghee left Kang Jiyoung and Goo Hara became members. They became the biggest Kpop Girl Group in Japan. In 2014 Nicole and Jiyoung left in days of each other and in Late 2014 new member Heo Youngji came and debuted with "mamma Mia". They lost some fame in Korea but have stayed at the top in Japan.
