asian kung-fu generation

Also known as "Ajikan", "AKFG", and "AKG", it is a Japanese rock band that formed in 1996. The band is well known for composing the opening songs of Fullmetal Alchemist (Rewrite), Bleach (After Dark), and Naruto (Haruka Kanata). Their guitars have been known to create an edgy and raw sound while maintaining its speed and upbeat tunes. Meanwhile, lyrics are very emotional, both in writing and the manner in singing. Some western bands such as Weezer, Foo Fighters, Oasis, and Pixies can be recognized from this band's sound.
Guy: I'm gonna watch an Ajikan concert. Wanna come?
Dude: Sure. I'll wear my AKG shirt.
Boy: Don't forget me. I have 3 AKFG tickets here.
Person: I'll come but I'll just call them Asian Kung-fu generation because they're awesome.

slut: "huh? is that like old music?"

Generation X

The generation born right around the end of the 1960s baby boomer cultural takeover, basically anyone born after 1965 (Dylan going electric) and before 1977 (so that you'd hafta be at least 1 yr. old when Star Wars came out). The title Generation X was designated by the media to indicate a distinct group population for marketing purposes. Generation X members are generally considered laid back (slackers), market savvy (having been inundated by the mass media and MTV since their pre-teen years), prone to psychological disorders (the first generation with a majority to have grown up with absent or divorced parents), and considered less important than baby boomers (who are btw the egomaniacal bastids to make that distinction in the first place, sheesh). Generational trends however suggest that Gen Xers are smarter than people think, are more capable and hard working than expected, and will eventually rule the world by lining up the baby boomer bastids against the wall when the revolution comes!
Also, the name of a punk band I think.
None needed. Generation X already knows.

Cold Y Generation

Classified as the last conscious equipped Generation. Meaning they kind of got the way the world worked, and it's not neccessarily a 'We Are The World' place as many Gen Y parents and pop culture would have them believe. Tend to have a uniqueness about them that needs to be explained.

Defining trait is that they have characteristics of Gen X and so called Gen Y, yet do not really feel like they are part of either. Also remember the Pre-Information age society, Cold War, and the arrival of the Gulf War.

Statisticians usually start at '81 and atop at '85. Strongest alienation seems to be between '81 -'83. Is not regulated to years as this 'in limbo' feeling can go back as far as the late '70s. Seemingly making the original end dates of Gen X as the most accurate.

They might even take offense being called Cold Y and make up their own name.

Generic Bitch

Something to describe someone who is very generic and tends to follow what other people do instead of coming up with something creative. They don't dare to be different. In the mind of a generic bitch, to gain popularity points you should join the cool crowd and do what they do and be under peer pressure to be accepted. Versus being yourself and trying to be different because you don't want to seem like a boring, fake, plastic, annoying, person.
Chloe: Omg. Yesterday I went shopping at Abercrombie & Fitch!
Matt: Why? That place friggin' advertises on peoples clothing and its so overrated.
Chloe: So..? Last time I checked, it's cool to shop there.
Matt: But every other girl shops there. It gets so annoying to see every girl sporting an Abercrombie hoodie or shirt and it would be nice if some of them wore other brands for once.
Chloe: Yeah but then they'd be losers for not following the mainstream trend. Dare to be different? Ha. Never. I bet I'd be less popular if I even tried..
Matt: Well in a sea of generic bitches, any person who doesn't follow mainstream trends is cool. Hell, I bet if Abercrombie and Fitch told their customers that breathing isn't cool, you'd all die.
Chloe: Of course I'd die. Yes I would..anything to bring up my social status. What a martyr I'd be if I died for coolness.
Matt: Yes..martyr of the plastic barbie dolls..you fucking generic bitch!
