Over the decades, their hate has focused on new groups as the old hates no longer resonate (to name a few): commies, civil rights, desegregation, labor unions, government programs for the poor, business regulations, OSHA, consumer and worker protections, antitrust actions, hippies, LGBTQ+, trans people, gay marriage, feminists, reproductive rights, abortion, intellectuals, academics, and currently immigrants.
