Negative concord

A textbook term that explains informal, illogical uses of double negatives when the intention is to convey a single negative in a sentence. This phenomenon goes against traditional English rules and effectively contributes towards the downfall of societal intelligence.

Person 1: "I didn't do nothing".

Person 2: "Did you just say a negative concord"?
Person 1: "What's that"?
Person 2: "It's when you say a double negative when you don't intend to. You don't sound smart when you speak like that".

An index-type reference booklet dat tells you where key words and phrases are in da operator's manual for da infamous SST jet.

Perhaps if da crew of Air France Flight 4590 had consulted da Concordence shortly before takeoff, they might have seen da super-important directive, "Check da runway for foreign objects before beginning take-off maneuvers", and thus saved their plane from a fiery crash!

A shitty ass town in North Carolina with nothing to do, trashy ass schools and no cute girls or guys. There’s nothing to do in Concord so plan on being bored if you ever go there. Locals like too fuck there friends and smoke a lot of weed! The best thing is that when you want to do something you go to cookout or the park, the mills are ghetto, you may even get human trafficked.
