the description of any situation or condition wherin anything extremely unhealthy, hazardous, nasty, dangerous, delicate, shatterable, scratchable, valuable, rare, expensive or flimsy- that would ordinarily have an amply appropriate or overly adequate covering or shield; is going around open or otherwise effectively unprotected in a dangerous and or unpredictable environment.

it refers to the chernobyl reactor in pripyat when it was operating. the designers neglected to surround the entire reactor with any sort of containment vessel. instead, they covered it with what amounted to a bit of sheet metal roofing and some glass. its supposed to be 6 ft thick concrete.

Chernovtsi

Used to be one of the greatest cities in Ukraine when it had its large population of Jewish Russians. It was one of the main cultural centers of Ukraine with one of the largest theaters and a large amount of poets, writers and musicians. Once communism fell and the Jewish people of Ukraine were able to get out, it became a complete shithole. Bandits now rob anyone from tourists to grandmas. Kids walk down the street drunk. Many young girls are turning to prostitution to make a living. Thanks the the Ukes and Russians still left the city is a total shithole now.

I wish I can go back to the Chernovtsi of the 80s

When there are all the warning signs which you ignore until its too late, the situation then goes critical and blows up in your face.

Typically relates to men chasing women that are just no good, who ignore all the warning signs and red flags only to find out that they are in fact a gold digger.

Chernobowl

When someone rips a nasty fart in another person's bowl piece of a smoking apparatus while they are torching whatever may be in it. The name is a reference to the nuclear disaster that happened in Russia in the 80s, Chernobyl.

noun - "Joe, why did you have to fart in my bowl and turn it into a Chernobowl? That's just gross."

verb - "JOE! You totally Chernobowled my hit. You're paying my next medical bill."
