Google Fishing

When a person types in a random word in google and you see what links, websites and picture the search engine generates.

You can play "google fishing," by having two or more players select the same word and type the word into google and see who can find the most links/websites with the selected word in the title. You tally up the websites or bookmark them and the person with the most tallies wins.

Google Foul

A Google Foul occurs when someone, during the course of an email exchange (or other, non-live conversation), takes a time out to Google something and then re-enters the conversation as an expert on the topic, pretending they knew the info all along.
Dad: Hey son, whatcha' listening to?

Son (without removing oversized headphones): Just some really cool mash ups I found"

(Interlude as Dad runs to his computer, Googles "mash up" and then Googles "Top ten mash ups all time".) Then later...

Dad: Yeah, Son, you should check out the mash up of Rick Astley and Nirvanna, it's totally rad. Mash ups are really cool."

Son: I call a Google Foul. That one is really old and you didn't even know what a mash up WAS yesterday, did you?"

Dad: (Slinks away mumbling about interest rates and the global economic crisis. )

Google Vocabulary

Google Vocabulary is when somebody uses a word that’s definition is not widely known. Google Vocabulary is when you ask a question about something and that person uses terms that you or the general public doesn’t know the meaning of. The use of google vocabulary is used to boost ones ego by sounding smart but in turn what they are saying is not properly understood. Thereby using google Vocabulary or big words that are not widely understood hurts the ability to communicate properly and get points across. Google vocabulary is usually used in arguments to sound smart or used when someone is unknowledgeable on a subject and asks a question and the answer tries to impress them with their knowledge but doesn’t help the questioner as he doesn’t understand the vocabulary being used. Using big technical words to someone clearly ignorant of the subject
Bro 1: Dude how is moonshine made?
Bro 2: Bro you have to make a distillery my favorite way to do this is using Saccharomyces cerevisiae Because the high ABV% in a grain mash. I always run a thumper with copper pipes to get sulfur out in copper sulfide. Then collect it out my worm in mason jars.
Bro 1: Woah dude calm down with all the google vocabulary I don’t know what any of that means.
