Insert Coin Syndrome

The delusion that you have control over the situation, when its clear to everyone else that you are clueless.

Reminiscent of playing car racing video games in shops when you were a kid with no money, but still vigorously manipuating the steering wheel and enjoying the ride, as the text "Insert Coin" flashes continuously.

DUANE: "C'mon guys! One big push and we'll all get this last bit done!"

MARK: "Why's Duane from management holding a clipboard and talking at us? We all know what we're doing and we're ahead of schedule anyway. He's just justifying his payrise."

JOHN: "Nah he's not that clever, he's got insert coin syndrome."

An insult is usually when someone says something rude or offensive to another person. Insults are usually used when someone is being annoying, but sometimes are used as jokes. Around 95% of people on the internet use insults, but only 1% of those use insults other than the following:
"Fuck you"
"I banged your mom last night" (This one is also said a lot in COD lobbies)
"Gay"
"Shut up"

Me: *types a comment on a youtube video*
Some kid: *replies back* "Shut up. I banged your mom last night"
Me: Nice insult, dickweed
