Insteady

When you are dating two or more people, and feel as though you would like to have a better relationship with only one of them, you slowly spend more time with that person, but until you are sure of your relationship with them you keep the other around just in case things dont work out with the other, and you need your backup instead.
This person is your Insteady

Bob is dating Jill and Jane. He decides to take things more seriously with Jill, but keeps Jane around as his Insteady. He is now "going steady" with Jill, and insteady with Jane.

Install Party

An attempted LAN party with such poor planning that no one has any games installed, or the players do not have the same games installed. The players will typically pick a game or two and then pass around the disks or download it. Since there are generally 4 or more people trying to do this simultaneously, this takes the entire night and no games are played

"Want to have a LAN party?"
"What game do you want to play?"
"I don't know. We'll figure it out when we all get there."
"Sounds like an install party to me."
