It's another type of way to say 'exactly' when used In a situation where somebody claims something that has no proof and you question them but they say silent because they have nothing else to say.
Lia: You stole my pencil!
Gina: How? and it has my name on it and your pencil is on your desk?
Lia: ..............
Gina: Oh alright then (exactly)

To be used like "oh my god", but with MacGyver. It would typically be used in a situation that only MacGyver (or a MacGyverian acolyte of sorts) could help to solve.
Oh MacGyver! How are we ever going to defuse this dumpling powered nuclear bomb? Help US, Richard Dean Anderson!
