A genre of movie or theatrical production characterized by having stereotypical tropes of the western genre (ie gunfights, rodeos, lassoing bandits, sheriffs,) whilst set in a traditional French setting (ie a Paris restaurant, a Lyon chateau, or a Marseilles beach.)

The movie “Hoedown in Bordeaux” is defined as a comedic Baguette Western.

Post-Western Rationality

He stopped judging other rationalities by Western standards and started learning to think in new ways."

Pro-Western Campism

The explicit alignment with Western imperial powers, colonial projects, and geopolitical interests by individuals or groups who may otherwise identify with anti-imperial or anti-colonial traditions. Pro-Western Campism is the positive formulation of Reverse Campism—the active choice to camp with the West, to defend its institutions, to justify its interventions, and to adopt its framing of global conflicts. This alignment may be rationalized through exceptionalist arguments (the West is different), through appeals to lesser-evilism (the alternatives are worse), through adoption of Western liberal values as universal standards, or through simple capture by Western institutions and funding. Pro-Western Campism describes the intellectual and political position of those who, whatever their origins or rhetoric, consistently find themselves on the side of Western power in global conflicts.

Example: "His editorials always ended up justifying Western intervention, no matter the context—not because he'd thought each case through, but because Pro-Western Campism was his default position, the lens through which he viewed all geopolitics."
