Short for “type shit”
A colloquial term that is used in conjunction with a phrase, idiom, verb or adjective to quickly summarize a given scenario.
I looked for that dude all day, then my boy called me and told me where to find him so of course I pulled up on some "yo ima beat your ass" type shit.

Marcus came to school thinking he was fly, on some "I got some new shoe" type shit.

Trypetus is funny and crazy but she can also be calm, cool, and collected. She’s short and caring and definitely the mom friend in the group but everyone loves her. She’s pretty and really smart she’s also thicker than a snicker. She’s the friend or gf you can always count on and she would never talk about you behind your back. She doesn’t do drama but she’s not a pushover either so don’t try her. Her parents are usually strict and she’s not shy to let you know about what she believes in.

Have you seen that girl, she must have been a trypetus she’s so smart.

Trypetus is thicker than a bowl of oatmeal.
