The blogalist droned on and on about the recent debate, restating sound bites that they heard on their favorite TV news channel.

The act of hyperlinking to articles about articles about articles, most frequently between geek-oriented communities such as Slashdot and Techdirt. Frequently infuriating, especially when someone tells you to RTFA.

Person 1: "Before you comment on it, RTFA!"

Person 2: "I tried to... but the links committed blogcest..."

bloggered

Hosed or broken in a way that puts fixing it out of reach. The web-app equivalent of BSOD.

Several commercial blogging services have components that crash regularly. When a crash happens, users are left at the mercy of the service providers, sometimes for hours or days. Nothing is end-user servicable, and vendors typically don't offer support state, so all a service customer can do is sit back, rage impotently, and hope enough functionality remains to tell users 'that feature is currently bloggered'.

A situation where bloggers jump on a particular story and work it to death, often making assumptions with facts not in evidence and often including heavy doses of FUD.

The technical bloggosphere had a nasty case of blogerrhea over the case of Psystar, assuming the company was a fraud.
