When someone farts in a moving vehicle and noone will admit it, the driver may lock all the windows and turn the heat on full blast, in effect 'heating' and 'prolonging' the fart, until someone takes the blame and promises not to do it again, or everyone passes out.
May alternatively be done just to prevent future farts, even if the perpetrator is known. Almost like a dutch oven but in a moving vehicle, rather than a bed, and not done playfully, but for the purpose of punishment and/or interrogation.
Sometimes referred to as a "stink tank."

No one dared sneak out a fart in SnackCake's ride 'cause they knew she would stank stove 'em.
