French for "on the way". Mostly used by the police, to announce on radio where they are driving from and heading to.

"This is 24, we are en route from downtown to Martin Luther King Drive."

roadinary route

When people (mostly locals that's been living in city or town for a long time) know their way around streets especially on stoplights, when you see the light red you find another route to your destination to make the trip faster.

Example 1:
Man- Whoa woman what are you trying to do pass that red light, you won't.

Woman- I'm just taking a roadinary route through this gas station. Its lot quicker than waitin at the light.

Man- No wonder why people say woman's drive crazy.

Woman- Stop your bitchin already

Example 2:
Man#1- Whats with all this traffic, mos def we're gonna be late with our dates. Ayo slow down. You're about to hit that car in front of us.

Man#2- Relax, stop squeezing your cheeks. I know my roadinary routine around this traffic
