patriot

Republican who believes that using taxpayer monies for their rightwinged crusades is being patriotic. Ex. Impeaching Bill Clinton. Ex. I wanna kick Sadams Hussein's ass because I wanna show my daddy I luv him. Ex. Bush W. lying to the US citizenry so he can spend 200 billion of their dollars to get rid of Sadam. Ex. All people who feel that lying about getting a blowjob truely justifies bringing government to a standstill to rid the US of such a president. Such Patriots also feel that the average citizen can't handle the truth.
Give me a billion or 2 of the taxpayers money so I can be a patriot.

Patriots

The recipients of a long-deserved ass kicking from the Carolina Panthers last Sunday. 27-17. The NFL's so-called greatest quarterback was sacked twice and picked off by the league's best defense while their rushing game was held back to sub-40 yards. The sheer joy of seeing Tom Brady weeping like a little girl on the sidelines as the fourth quarter wound down was almost overwhelming.
Steve Smith, Stephen Davis, Ricky Proehl, Julius Peppers, Mike Rucker, Will Witherspoon, and Ken Lucas owned the Patriots.

patriots

A decent, but overly hyped NFL team. Their fans tend to be assholes that think they whooped the Panther's asses in the Superbowl. However, it was only luck that they got the ball last. Whoever would have had the ball last would have surely won. Panthers put up on hellofafight.

Patriotism

Patriotism, believe it or not, has a Latin stem word, and a Greek suffix. The stem word being "patria", meaning "land of one's fathers" or "fatherland" and the greek suffix "-ism" meaning "the act of" or "state of".

To put these two stems together would equal "the act of... land of one's fathers". Obviously we need to fill in the blank. As you can read above people have many different choices as to what goes into that blank(criticising, disagreeing with).

However, plainly stated, the definition of Patriotism is not up for discussion. and the word that goes into that blank is "love" or "devotion". A strong statement I know, but true. Please do not assume because I use strong words like love and devotion I am trying to conotate this definition, they are simply words, with definitions of their own, that are in the definition of the word patriotism.

Patriotism: n. - the act of loving or showing devotion to one's country.

Let's face it, patriotism is not a political stance or a veiw point. It's an emotion. Just like all emotions, how you choose to display them to the world is entirely up to you.
It is lamentable, that to be a good patriot one must become the enemy of the rest of mankind.

patriots

A douche of a team. They think they're the best, but they can't win them all!
At one time, the Patriots had the longest win streak in the NFL. On Halloween night 2004, the Pittsburgh Steelers shut them down killing their streak at 21.

The Patriot

When you choke a girl till she's blue punch her nose till she's bleeding then ejaculating on her face. The end result is a red, white and blue mess that may or may not resemble an American Flag.
I was so horny on the 4th of July that I gave a random girl The Patriot!
